As part of the Automate 2025 Fair held in Michigan, USA, a team from the Engineering departments of both plants traveled to explore the latest advancements in technology and automation within the automotive industry.
Following their participation in the event—also an excellent opportunity for networking with companies from around the world—Guidi representatives highlighted three key points: Machine Learning-Driven Computer Vision for product inspection to detect defects and ensure quality; Autonomous Mobile Robots designed for material transportation and the handling of finished products; Other emerging technologies such as Cobots and Industrial Raspberry Pis that could be applied to Guidi's operations.
The delegation consisted of the Engineering and Projects Manager, Gabriel Monzón, along with members of the plant engineering and process teams: Joaquín Pascoal Luiz, Marcos Gregori, Martín Gabriel Decker, and Martín Prezzavento.
Automate is the leading robotics and automation event in the United States, attracting over 35,000 participants each year. Organized annually by the Association for the Advancement of Automation (A3), it has established itself as the platform where the future of global manufacturing is envisioned, discussed, and implemented.
